Michelle Metter

Partner and Owner

In 2004, Michelle and Ken broke open a bottle of Ken’s good wine and settled into his dining room ready to solve the world’s problems. Instead, a few hours later, Fast Forward made its official launch. As a passionate event and PR pro, Michelle had dedicated her career to the industry and knew there was an opportunity to create an agency where heart mattered as much as results, making JOY central to the Fast Forward ethos. With 20 years’ experience in event production, event launch, experiential activations, sponsorship sales, marketing and public relations, Michelle’s leadership, vision, and focus on growth and new business development have since led the agency to become one of the most widely respected in the industry. Michelle is often recruited as a speaker at industry conferences and quoted throughout event and public relations trade publications.

Ken Loyst

Partner and Owner

As Partner at Fast Forward, Loyst brings 27 years experience in event production, operations, and event launch experience to the agency. As a former producer of one of the country’s top 200 tradeshows, Loyst is the agency’s operations guru and launch strategist, directing all vendor relationships and managing contract negotiations. With almost three decades in event management experience, Loyst spearheads the agency’s Operations & Logistics division and also plays a vital role in the creative development of new events produced by Fast Forward.

Our Values

Like hot coco with extra large marshmallows, a warm fire, binge watching kitten videos on Youtube, our Feel The Love value is about the warm fuzzy. The feeling you get when you are giving in the way you hope to receive.

There is no halfway. No do overs. No putting things off to tomorrow. We make it matter by making even the small details count.

From new client events, project brainstorms, PR strategies and campaign launches our team tackles each challenge with Joy as our baseline. By creating from a place of Joy, we help ensure that our ideas are inspired, innovative and on target.

No one is perfect and mistakes are bound to happen even with careful planning. At Fast Forward we ask, how do we turn mistakes into opportunities for learning? To grow and get better?

Even when not working with our own budget, we treat each account and project as if the finances are our own. We make recommendations based on impact but always with our client’s fiscal objectives in mind.

For us, change is a no brainer. Our team stays ahead of the curve and at the forefront of new trends, ideas and ways of thinking by always asking the question “how can we make it better?” Simply put, we say “no” to the status quo the same way we say “yes” to a good glass of wine.

Let’s face it. We are pretty fortunate folks. We get to wake up each day, work in an industry we love, surrounded by people we care about, and on projects that bring us and others joy. So yes, we believe in being grateful and we believe in giving back.

It’s simple really. The team at Fast Forward doesn’t exactly walk around doing toe touches and showing our spirit fingers, but do believe that the way to build an encouraging environment is to work together to uplift one another through our own positivity.
